Counter in the fish market in the center of Mali Lošinj
In order to expand our business, we rented a counter in the fish market in the center of Mali Lošinj. Then we started marketing our products through the fish market.
The kennel starts working
We start fish farming and raise the business to a very high level. The farm is located in the bay Kaldonta on the island of Cres near Punta Križa. We started with 10 breeding cages, while today we count 48. We have had several attempts to breed other fish and shellfish. Over time, using research and monitoring the development of other fish and shellfish farming, we have established that the position is most suitable for sea bream and sea bass farming. From then on, we are exclusively engaged in the cultivation of sea bream and sea bass.
The company More-Lošinj doo was founded
The company More-Lošinj doo was formed from the trade, which deals with the cultivation of sea bream and sea bass, the purchase and sale of fish from domestic trawlers. After its founding, the company's headquarters were opposite today's building for some time. After a few months, the same year, the company merged into a new building, where it is located today.
Nerezine fish market
In order to be able to place our products along the island of Cres and Lošinj, we established our own fish market in the center of Nerezine.
Fish of Croatia - Eat what is worth!
From the very beginning, we took care of the quality of our farmed fish, and this is our primary task, as it is today. Our many years of work and effort have paid off and our fish has been recognized as an exceptionally high-quality domestic Croatian product. Based on that, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce awarded us labels if our product would be declared and recognizable as an original Croatian product.
Martinšćica fish market
After the establishment of the fish market in Nerezine, we expanded to the area of the island of Cres and established a fish market in Martinšćica.
New cages
In order to increase our production capacities, with the help of European Union funds, we bought ** 3 new cages for fish farming. The cages are round in shape with a diameter of 25m with built-in walkways.
